A hunting we will go!! (Or a hunting Mitch will go!)

Getting ready to go find a Christmas tree! The boys were loving the sled until we couldn't find a good tree ANYWHERE! Then Bentley decided to scream bloody murder the whole time until we got back in the pickup!! It was FREEZING cold and he was NOT liking it! Peyton was a trooper though and was having a blast!

We couldn't find a tree in the first place we looked so we got back in the pickup and drove to where we got one last year. Mitch got out to take a quick look around to see if it was worth getting the kids out again and while he was gone they both fell asleep!!

It was a great family outing! ha ha! So Mitch ended up finding a tree and cutting it down by himself while I hung out with the sleeping children in the car!
If you look close you can see Harley stuffed in the back of the pickup with the tree! Poor dog! But she had fun running around in the forest!!

This is what the boys conjured up the other morning while I was getting ready...Well I should say it was Peyton's idea and Bentley watched in fascination.

For Sale

I'm sorry to say so and sadly it's true....we have officially put our house up for sale. With Mitch going to school we are going to be moving so that means we have to say good-bye to our house. It's bitter-sweet and I hae mixed feelings because I love this house, but we are excited for a new adventure. Hopefully it will sell before we have to go but not to soon that we have to rent anywhere! If your interested we are selling it through Reality Quest.

The Forgotten Carols

I have always wanted to see The Fogotten Carols and so this year I finally bought tickets! It was a great show and I am so glad we to go! It was a great date night!

Update!

We decorated the house today for Christmas and the boys found this hat and thought it was pretty funny. Peyton said "Santa left his hat!" He was pretty worried about it.
Freezin our buns off!!

For Thanksgiving we made the LONG treck to Denver to Mitch's brothers house. We drove and lets just say that it was not pleasant! But we made it there and had a really fun time with almost Mitch's whole family! The only pictures we took were when we went to the Denver Broncos game on Thanksgiving! How sad I didn't take one picture of the kids the whole trip!! But the game was really fun and we had some interesting guys sitting around us! Let's just say they all had a little to much to drink! We did lots of shopping and Mitch and his brothers raced go-karts. The kids were exahausted, but we had a great time! Thanks Dan and Brig!
